Blog's of "Camp Cupcake"

It appears the abominable snow man has decided to give the service members a reprieve. They are gracefully transitioning from snow shoes and accidental ice skating to unintended mud bogging on humps and the occasional sun sighting. I believe the coffee makers and heaters are even more thankful for this change than the service members currently stationed there. If you listen closely enough the treadmills might even be giving a sigh of relief.


It appears the bread crumb trail of information has finally lead us to the belief that they value Pete's presence and are not going to move him down range. He is both happy and disappointed by this news, Camp Ice-cream has its perks but a change of scenery and being back in a shop would have been nice. Side note: I am still on a very important mission to find a couch I can send  to the men. Why settle for Camp Ice-cream when you can have Camp Cupcake. :)

Pete is still working nights, 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, after months this can be tiresome even if you are stationed at camp cupcake. I have reason to believe with how little he sees the sun, he might just end up looking as pale as Dracula and sleeping the first 12 hours or so of R&R.

"Birds of a feather flock together!" The Green, Blue and Brown chickens are trying there best to play nice. It appears bent feelers or maybe its ruffled feathers are the most frequent casualty on the "blue" side of the office. Bent ego on the "green." The good idea fairy is a frequent flyer and should be getting discounted seats soon!

They are all doing well for the most part counting the days and months until R&R for some and going home for others. 

The men have received and are enjoying the books kindly donated by Pepper Press.
