I have been thinking all day! Scary I know but bear with me! :)
How do I say I Love You, Happy Anniversary in an email and have it mean more then just another message or just another I love you. I wanted this message to be something special. Something amazing that really symbolized our relationship, our love.
Do I send you the words I wrote for our first anniversary that still ring so true! How do I say I Love You, Happy Anniversary in an email and have it mean more then just another message or just another I love you. I wanted this message to be something special. Something amazing that really symbolized our relationship, our love.
With you, I admit it was fast. Like fate engineered our meeting
out of all the people in the world. I didn't think I would ever have
something like this, but then I looked at you and I recognized you were
the person I was meant to love. I love you more then I could ever dream
of explaining in words. Like nothing I had ever felt before. I love you
with my whole being: body, heart, mind, and soul. They say there is
someone for everyone, there other half. you are mine, we are a perfect
fit. Perfect for each other. I treasure the day I became your wife. Soon
we will be celebrating our first year as a married couple and more then
anything I want you to know how happy you make me. I feel blessed and
proud to be with you. I look forward to many more years together,
forever will not be nearly long enough.
“The most
wonderful of all things in life, I believe, is the discovery of another
human being with whom one's relationship has a growing depth, beauty,
and joy as the years increase.
This inner progressiveness of love
between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found
by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of
divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life.”

Wipole, Sr.)
Do I tell stories of anniversaries past, dinners
out, drinks at various locations, our eventful and funny walks home
from such nights. Your such a cute couple, (a zig zag really does seem
like a straight line under the influence. Who needs shoes, my pantyhose
were toast but walking without the high heels was so much better and
parents still worry when you come home drunk as a married "responsible"
adult.. lol)
Do I get theatrical and emotional and profess all of my love and longing with eloquent words. I believe an attempt of this nature would only remind both of us that words really do fall short when trying to convey messages of the heart.
Do I send naughty photos with words of love attached. Think I'll nix that idea for tonight for a couple of reasons:
We may not be physically together this year but our hearts and love always are. There is not any physical distance that could ever change that. Although I will spend this anniversary filled with longing. At the end of the night I will still have that glass of wine and celebrate what this day is truly all about, our love!
lovely posting of anniversary messages
